<如果我还能站立...>
2011年5月10日的晚上希望护生园前往拯救一只后脚完全瘫痪的流浪狗狗。这是由一名善心学生告知在johor jaya的咖啡店有这样一只无助及悲惨的流浪狗狗，并希望我们能够帮助它…
拯救那只流浪狗狗时它就躺睡在咖啡店外头，那名学生轻轻抚摸它，它无力地抬起头望了我们一眼，又躺下。它好瘦，尤其是两只后腿的部分更加瘦，瘦到骨头几乎要从它的身体里插出来似地。一个令我们感到揪心的画面出现在眼前，因为车祸的关系狗狗的后腿被撞断了，也因为这样它无法站立，只能靠拖着它的后腿来”爬行”。因为长期在粗燥炎热的路面上强拖着受伤的后腿，造成狗狗的左后腿的内侧和右后腿外侧异常畸形肿大，但是左后腿的外侧和右后腿却像是被压扁机压过一样，都被磨平了! 我们从没看过这样的伤势，想想连后腿都可以被拖到变平， 再加上严重发炎的伤口，狗狗你到底被折磨了多久, 你到底痛了多久啊?!!
那名学生告知, 他看过狗狗有好几次是拖着身躯去找食物，还看到它连大小便也是躺着解决。咖啡店里里外外人来人往，每一个人都无视它的存在， 更加没有人愿意帮助它。为什么? 难道他们的命运就本该卑贱到连受了如此重的伤都还被视若无睹?? 难道我们的社会连最基本的怜悯心都没有??!
把狗狗送到创办人佳佳阿姨家后，看着它大口大口地吃着狗饼，大口大口地把水盆的水喝完，再看到它用尽所有的力气拖着它已经瘫痪的下半身躺下。 虽然看似很辛苦，可是我们知道那一刻，它终于感受到什么是”温饱”。佳佳阿姨说有很大的可能会遭 截肢，截肢后也可能需要装上义肢。 可是装义肢可是一笔不小的费用啊! 看见阿姨深锁眉头, 她已经开始在担心医药费的问题了….
如果不是靠着勇气及意志力，你根本无法想象他是如何度过每一天的..如果人类下半身无法行走，没有轮椅或拐杖根本就无法站立，更何况是一只狗! 四肢健全的狗狗在外讨食物已经是万般艰难了，你可以想像他在外是如何生存到今天的吗? 就算是简单的一个瘙痒动作, 它也没有办法做到..狗狗的康复之路还非常漫长，而他的这条路需要你我一起陪着他努力完成! 请大家伸出援手，您的捐助不仅能让它享有温饱，也能让它健康的活下去，更加能够带给它像Fortune一样幸福的重生机会!
** 目前狗狗已位于诊疗所接受治疗，初步治疗结果: 他异常肿大的左后脚已骨碎，也有骨折及骨头细菌感染，让我们祈祷它能撑过这个大难关!
On 10th of May 2011 night, H.O.P.E was heading to rescue a stray dog who’ve paralysis on his two rear legs. This was reported by a kind-hearted student who found him in a Johor Jaya coffee shop that are hoping to get help from us…
He arrived at HOPE on the brink of death. This little doggie was in a horrible state.
We found he was sleeping outside a coffee shop..When the student gently touch him, he lifted his head very weakly and looked at us. He is extremely thin especially his two rear legs. He was involved in an accident which caused bad injury on his two rear legs. He can’t even stand with his leg. He has to crawl and drag his two rear legs to move forward. By keep on dragging his legs on the hot and rough road, his inner left rear leg and outer right rear leg wounds are extremely huge and swollen. We’ve never encountered wounds like this before. Please imagine that he had already dragged his leg till his feet had become flatten and had severe wounds infection. How long had he suffered for all this while? How long had he endured his painfulness???
The student told us that, he had saw this poor doggie dragging his body to looked for food for several of times. He even pee and poo by just lying down. There’re lots of people getting in and out from the coffee shop everyday but not a single person is willing to helped or saved him. Where is the sympathy of our society?
When we gave him food at Aunty Jia Jia’s house, he eats and drinks in a very fast speed. Although he looks tired, we can see from his eyes that he felt the satisfaction. From today onwards, he’s free from hunger.
We can’t imagine how he live his days without bravery and determination..Even we human have paralysis, we can’t event stand without a wheel chair. Strays are already have the difficulty to look for food and water, not to mention this poor doggie can survive till now by having paralysis. Even a simple action of scratching his back is hard for him to do. He needs lots of encouragement and assistance during his recovery. Please help him to have a happy, blessing and healthy second life! He is a wonderful dog and, with a little help, will one day be able to to run and play.
Sadly, there are many more waiting to be saved. Please help us continue to say “Yes” to others like him. They truly deserve a second chance after such a cruel and wretched beginning!!!
** Currently he is recuperating at the vet’s clinic, the check up shows that the his swollen left rear legs bone have crashed and broken. There are also severe bone virus infections. Let us pray for him....
