Ubah是只很可爱，很坚强的流浪猫咪，他是被发现在一间素食馆的后巷，被发现时猫咪的尾部的伤口已经严重受到细菌感染而且发出阵阵恶臭，素食馆的老板看到他楚楚可怜就收留Ubah在他的店面里面。
可是由于老板对猫狗认识不多所以他不懂如何处理Ubah的伤口，所以只给Ubah两餐温饱，几天后Ubah的伤口就越来越严重，直到我们到素食馆用餐，老板从我们的谈话中知道我们是保护动物团体就恳求我们能救救这可怜的猫咪!!
当老板带着我们去看Ubah时，他用一双可怜又无助的眼神看着我们，仿佛是希望我们能救救他，看着他的眼神，在场的每个人都觉得心很痛，我们把Ubah抱起来，Ubah很坚强的忍着痛不挣扎也不叫，乖乖的让我们抱他上车。
我们火速把Ubah送去兽医诊所，兽医告诉我们Ubah的伤口极大可能是残忍的人类用烧水灼伤，由于受伤了很久的时间，伤口已经受细菌感染而腐烂需要长时间留院治疗，当医生把Ubah腐烂的皮和肉夹掉时，Ubah的伤口就血流如注，我们知道Ubah会很痛很痛!!
可是Ubah叫也没叫一声，流着泪乖乖的让兽医帮他清理伤口，这也让我们看了更心疼，到底是谁会用这种残忍的手段去对待一个无辜又脆弱的小生命？
流浪生命的要求很简单，只需要每天有一餐的温饱，下雨的时候可以找到一个地方避雨它们就能很满足了，他们并没有打扰到人类的生活，为什么人就是不能放过他们要赶尽杀绝呢？你可以不爱它们，不喜欢他们，但请不要用残忍的手段去伤害他们，因为他们也是一条会痛，会哭，会无助的小生命。
我们为猫咪改名叫Ubah，是希望他的命运能够改变，不再受人类的虐待和不再受任何的痛苦，可以在护生园过着有人疼有人爱的生活，只有您才能改变Ubah的未来，您愿意帮助这可怜的小生命吗？

Ubah is a cute and tough stray cat. He was found at the back lane of a
vegetarian restaurant. The wound on the back of his tail was seriously
infected that it was stinking like rotten flesh when he was found.
Despite that, the kind-hearted restaurant owner has kept him in the
restaurant, keeping him off the streets and making sure that he had
enough food. However, due to lack of experience with animals, the kind
restaurant owner did not know how to deal with the wound and inevitably,
the wound got worse by the day... Until we went and dined in the
restaurant and engaged in a conversation with the owner, where he found
out that we rescue animals, he requested for us to save this poor kitty.
When we were led to see Ubah, he looked at us helplessly as if he was
hoping for us to save him. Our hearts broke when we looked at this
little creature. We picked him up, he didn't struggle, didn't even make a
fuss over the pain he was feeling, he just surrendered himself to us
and let us bring him into our car.
We sent Ubah to the vet
immediately. We were told that his wound was probably caused by boiling
water -- some mean and cold blooded person might just have done this to
him intentionally. Because he's been hurt a long time, the wound is very
badly infected and it's started to rot. This mean that the road to
recovery will be long and painful - he will have to be hospitalized for a
long time. When the vet was removing the rotten flesh, a lot of blood
gushed from the wound. We just knew it hurt very very much. But Ubah did
not make a noise. Tearing but quiet, he just let the vet did his work.
This scene hurt us even more. Who in the world could hurt an innocent
and fragile life like this?
Strays don't ask for much, at all. They
only need food when they get hungry, a shelter to stay dry when it
rains, they are very easy to please. They do not interfere with our
lives, why can't we just leave them along? You can choose not to love or
like them but please, don't hurt them, because, just like us, they feel
pain, they cry and most of all, they are helpless.
We named this
kitty "Ubah" (means change in Malay), hoping that his fate will change.
No more abuse and no more cruelty from humans. Now he gets to stay here
in HOPE, he gets to enjoy love and affection from us. Only you can help

一个令人伤心的消息，Ubah被烫伤的伤口已治疗两个月还是完全没复合的进展!
经过兽医诊断后证实Ubah已患上可怕的猫艾滋病，而Ubah得此病已有一段日子了， 得此病的猫咪一但有伤口将很难愈合，所以Ubah身上的伤口至今还没复合!!猫艾滋病是一种高度传染的病毒疾病，目前也无药物能治好此病，此病将永远跟随Ubah的体内!如果当一只患有猫艾滋病的猫咪和没打预防针的猫咪打斗受伤将从伤口传染病菌，如果有打预防针被感染的机率将会是零，所以如果您家的猫咪还没打预防针的话，请尽快安排带您的猫咪去兽医所打预防针吧。
目前工友们每天都一定要为Ubah清洗伤口和喂食补助品让Ubah免疫系统增加，希望他身上的伤口能早日康复，让他能减轻伤口为他带来的疼痛!
Ubah是个非常乖的孩子，他总是不吵不闹，大家一起为这个乖孩子祈祷，希望他的病情能好转还有身上的伤口快点好，Ubah，加油！

25/06/2013:Updates about Ubah:
We have received a very saddening news... there is no sign of healing on the burns that Ubah has been suffering from.
Ubah has been diagnosed with a horrible disease -- FIV (Feline
Immunodefiency Virus)! It is believed that Ubah has contracted this
virus for quite some time now. Cats with FIV often have difficulties in
recovering from physical injuries hence Ubah's burns are not showing any
progress in healing! FIV is highly infectious and is transmitted via
deep bite wounds and scratches, that makes it very easy to be contracted
because of the nature of stray cats (there is a vaccine for this virus,
vaccinated cats will not get infected). There is not yet an effective
cure for FIV yet and Ubah will be a carrier for life. So if your cats
are not vaccinated yet, please get them vaccinated as soon as you
possibly can.
Volunteers clean Ubah's burns everyday and he's been
given supplements to boost his immune system, in the hope that the burns
could heal faster and hopefully reduce his pain.
Ubah, like most
strays, is a very good boy. He's always quiet although we know that the
pain he has been enduring is very severe. Let's pray for this poor baby,
let's hope that he gets well soon. Hangin' there, Ubah!

Good news!! Ubah who was diagnosed with FIV (Feline Immunodefiency
Virus) has started to recover!! His condition is now under control and
all the wounds have begun to heal!
We hope that Ubah's condition
continues to improve and that he has a great future and a wonderful new
life. Thank you for all the help you have given to Ubah.
Humans'
cruelty towards strays or even their own pets is simply horrific. Please
stop animal cruelty, please respect all lives, and remember that they
have the right to live no less than we humans do.
