2014年3月22日希望护生园迎来了新山宽柔中学少狮会的老师及同学们，大家抱着对流浪动物的爱心和善心前往探访并体验了一堂丰富的生命教育。
We appreciate so much for the visit of Leo Club of Foon Yew High School Johor Bahru to H.O.P.E on 22th of March 2014.

同学们的活动包括为狗狗们洗澡，陪同狗狗们玩乐及了解为流浪动物结扎的重要性等，教育是解决社会问题的最根本做法，灌输爱护动物的观念及改善流浪动物的生活是希望护生园的使命及一贯的信念，希望新山宽柔中学的同学们能把这颗种子散播到更多更远的地方让更多人加入保护流浪动物的行列! :)
The activities include bathing the furry friends & have fun moments with them,and a short brief about the importance of spaying a strays. Education plays an important role in solving the problem of strays and we welcome more students or school societies to visit us for a lesson on loving the strays! :)

狗狗洗澡日又来了！就在4月13号2014年，想要进来看看狗狗帮忙他们洗澡的朋友们别犹豫了，快来吧！:)
H.O.P.E doggies bathing event is on 13 of Apr 2014!! Ready for it? Come and have a happy reunion with all the doggies inside H.O.P.E :)

希望护生园里超过1500只的狗狗们需要大家合力一起来为他们洗洗澡以防止染上虱子及保持卫生干净，快来参与这项有意义的活动吧，还能享受和这么多狗狗们一起玩乐的欢愉哦 :)
Our 1500 dogs inside HOPE shelter are waiting for you to bath them to prevent flea and keep them clean! Join this meaningful event by attending on Sunday and enjoy yourself by playing with so many doggies inside :)

温馨提醒：不建议车身底的车子进入，因为需驾驶一段颠簸山泥路才能抵达希望护生园因此车身底的车子不适合进入，Myvi 或 Viva 这类型的车子进入大致上是没问题的，但请缓慢驾驶。如果没有车身高的车子或不曾进入过希望护生园的话请联络希望护生园义工，我们将会与10.15am在士古来五间店(Lima Kedai)的神庙前集合再于10.30am乘坐其中一些人的车子进入。
Reminder: As we need to drive a short journey of muddy road to get into H.O.P.E, we strongly suggest not to drive car with lower base,Myvi or Viva is considered suitable to get in but please drive in slow speed. For those who don't have transportation or not familiar with the ways to get in, please contact our H.O.P.E volunteer,we will gather in front of a temple in Lima Kedai, Skudai on 10.15am and get in together with others' vehicle on 10.30am.

服装：拖鞋，短裤及暗色衬衫。您也可另备一套干净衣服以供换穿（选择性），因为进入护生园后狗狗们会留下许多爱的脚印在您的衣服上搞得全身都脏兮兮的哦 :)

26/10/2014: Zorol的最新近况 Updates about Zorol:

近期发现毛孩Zorol一直躺着后双脚无力走起步更跌撞，经过照x-ray兽医确诊后，被证实腰脊椎生骨刺，这对Zorol来说是多么可怕的事实。
Zorol was recently discovered having been lying down most of the time, with its hind legs not being able to support its body. When he gets up and walks, he stumbles and collapses again. Upon an X-ray, Zorol was diagnosed to have spurs in its spine, the news was devastating.

很多生骨刺的狗狗都选择不敢随意摆动身子，特别是腰脊椎骨刺因为每摇动身子或走一步都会带来及大的痛楚。
Most dogs having spurs in their bones are not able to move their bodies in any way they want, particularly when the spurs are found in their spines, because in such a case, every movement of the body or any leg will bring about excruciating pain.

兽医开了一些骨刺药物让Zorol控制病情，待一个月后再回复诊，如果结果出来骨刺病情在还不是很严重的情况可以做手术，就无须面临瘫痪的命运。
Zorol had been prescribed with some medicine to keep the spurs in control and has to go for another medical checkup a month later. If the spurs are not that bad, Zorol may have to undergo an operation to have the spurs removed, and he will be spared from the fate of being paralysed.

Zorol之前被前主人抛弃后巷不离死活，但忠心的他不离不弃的在后巷等待主人回心转意，过后受伤了主人更不多加理会，之后无助伤重的他才获善心人士通报下被我们救援并加入大家庭里。
Zorol was dumped into a back-lane, left to live or die on its own by its previous master. But Zorol was so faithful that it kept waiting for its master to claim him back. When Zorol was injured, he was totally abandoned. Zorol joined our big family when we were informed of Zorol’s critical condition by some kind people.

Zorol现在唯一的家人就是我们，所以我们希望结果如我们所愿，我们会尽一却的力量帮助Zorol，乖孩子别怕，我们都会一直守护着您。
Zorol is now one of our family members. We hope that the result of Zorol’s forthcoming medical checkup will be what we hope for. We vow to help Zorol live a good life. Zorol, our good kid, be brave, we will always look after and care for you.

Zorol日前复诊，Zorol由于骨刺所带来的疼痛而选择不愿多动身子，就整天躺着，前双脚膝盖因长期压着而导致出现伤口。
Zorol has gone for his review a few days ago. Due to the pain caused by the bone spur, Zorol is reluctant to move his body and maintains a lying position all day long. Wounds have appeared on his front limbs from the pressing of his weight on the knees.

兽医解释Zorol目前并不适合做任何手术，他的情况还需关查了解，现在定时服食药物和最重要的复建就是每一天让他多动身子和走动不让病情恶化，希望病情能受控制。
The vet explained that Zorol is currently not an appropriate candidate for any form of surgery, his conditions need to be monitored further. We are giving him oral medications at regular timings and the most important rehabilitation is to get him to move his body and walk around more daily to prevent his conditions from deteriorating. We hope that his condition can be stabilised.

照顾Zorol的工友现今每一天都会抽点时间带他走动，持续一个月后我们会在带他回诊所复诊，希望他的病情能获得好转机，相信奇迹一定能出现在Zorol身上，孩子要加油。
The worker who takes care of Zorol takes time to bring him for walks every day. We will bring him to the clinic for review in one month’s time and hope that his condition will improve. We believe in a miracle for Zorol, be strong our boy.

欣慰的消息，Zorol于日前复诊，依据兽医指示Zorol目前每天都由工人带出多走动，现今骨刺病情有好转，现只需定时服食药物无需做任何手术。
We are pleased that, Zorol returned visit to the vet, his spur condition is getting better due to that under the instruction of the vet previously, our worker has been bringing Zorol out for a walk a lot every day. Now he will just need medication and doesn’t need any operation.

我们都明白骨刺病情无法痊愈，但只希望病情能受控制，让Zorol能减轻疼痛，加油Zorol，有我们陪着您！
We understand that spur won’t be able to fully recover, we hope that the condition will be under control so that Zorol won’t be in too much pain. Cheer up Zorol, we will accompany you.

无情狗主因狗咬到女儿就要将狗施行安乐处死

边境牧羊犬是一种非常聪明的犬种，对朋友非常友善而对陌生人明显地有所保留，与小孩相处友善，他还是一种卓越的牧羊犬，他乐于学习并对此感到满足，并在人类的友谊中茁壮成 。
Border Collie is considered one of the most intelligent dog breed, very friendly towards people they know, child –friendly but not too friendly when it comes to strangers, they are excellent working dogs – best known for livestock herding. They enjoy learning and that plays a big part in their lives. And they live on the good friendship with humans.

他叫Prince，今年5岁，听闻已数不清他被转换过几次的领养家庭，大多数领养家庭领养后很快又退回宠物店，这一次他发生咬人事件，他所咬的是领养人8岁的女儿，这名领养人狠心的要给他施行安乐处死!
His name is Prince, 5 years of age this year, we heard that he has gone through many adoptive families – most of them returned him to the pet shop not long after they have taken him home. This recent case, he bit the adopter’s 8-year-old daughter and so the adopter has decided to have him euthanized!

当看到他纯真的笑容心头默默为他怜惜，他过往生活肯定有过好多好多无奈哀伤的事往，我们对他保证我们决不会当他是球将他抛来抛去，他也相当的乖让我们带他走，完全没挣扎过，他其实是只很乖的狗儿只是对人们失去了信任和安全感。
We feel for him when we saw his innocent smile because of whatever he has gone through and there must have been so much he had to go through. We promised not to throw him around like a ball and he surrendered to us and let us take him. He is a very well behaved dog, he just needed to trust us again and feel secured again.

如果你是因为狗狗咬人而要处死他，那么我告訴你，狗狗会这样做，事出必有因，不要把错都归到狗狗身上，为何连一个机会都不给他就要给他死，对他真的很不公平!
Let me tell you this, a dog will not attack for no reason, do not blame the dog for everything and to take away a life is definitely not the right way. When a person injures another person, he does not get death penalty right away – he will at least face trial and probably given a second chance after that. Why can’t we give the dog that? Some of us can’t even give the dog a chance before deciding to take its life! How fair is that?

不愿接触人类的落难孩子“Runner”谁能抚慰您身上的伤痕?
The suffering furkid – Runner.Who can ease his pain?

我们为狗狗取名位Runner，在这里我们要特别感谢当地的一群善心热血青年们，感恩他们这个星期来经过几次的救援失败都不愿放弃‘Runner'，因大家聚合了爱心之力终于成功救援‘Runner'，您们的无私的精神和对‘Runner’所做的一却都令人感动万分，更要感恩帮忙分享出这则求救信息的您们，再一次谢谢大家!!
We named him Runner, They failed several times in a week trying to get a hold of Runner but they never gave up. With their determination, teamwork and their love for animals, they managed to rescue Runner and brought him for medical treatment. We would like to say our thanks to those who had shared and answered our plea for Runner’s rescue mission.

经过兽医诊断后发现他的脚底的伤口已经伤及筋骨，所以必须做截肢手术，这是最快能帮他减轻痛苦的方法。
He needed amputation for his hind leg as the muscles and bones were severely damaged, which is the fastest way to relieve him from his pain.

“帮助落难动物，仅靠我们是远远不够的，希望大家各自出力，让这些无助急需援助的孩子们能及时得到帮助。”
We will not be able to achieve our mission of saving the strays without your help and contribution. Here we hope you answer our call for your continuous support and care for the furkids in need.

Runner已出院并在护生园隔离照顾中，Runner还是一样不愿与人接触也相当的怕人。
Currently Runner already discharged from hospital and being isolated in our shelter for further rehabilitation. But, he is still the same, not willing to contact with other persons and afraid us.

我们也衷心感谢所有捐助过Runner的大家，感谢您们改变了他的世界，希望他的情况会越来越好!!
We would like to thanks everyone that helped Runner before this. You changed his world and giving him and better day. He will get well soon…..Thank you..

大家是否遗忘了毛孩Runner呢？不知不觉他已经在护生园生活了八个月，但是至今的他还是一样深怕和人们接触，不过和毛孩们相处的相当融合:)
Have you forgotten the fur kid Runner? Runner has been living in the shelter for 8 months, but is still afraid of having contact with humans. Nonetheless, he socialises with other fur kids well.

我们并不懂Runner究竟之前发生过什么恐怖过往才会对人们恐惧，无轮如何我们都希望往后他能投入我们的怀抱感受被爱被疼。
We have no idea what Runner had gone through before he met us that could result in his being so afraid of human beings. But we will shower him with lots of love in order to convince him that he is loved and cared for, and hopefully one day he will run to us for affection.
