Rescue Case 拯救案子 -Kalou and Waro

28/05/2012：When all of us are sleeping soundly in our sweet home at the midnight time, there are millions of suffering lives who are just like Kanu & Waro, struggling hard to survive and no one gets to know their existence.. Our founder happened to found Kalou in Gelang Patah Industrial area , Johor on 24/05/2012 . He was lying on the road with a huge maggots wound on the body! Kalou was whining in pain and Auntie Jia Jia was anxious for his illness and bring him to vet immediately. Kalou was rushed to the vet clinic. There were pus on the wound and the flesh were all exposed. The vet spent nearly 3 days to clear over hundred hundred maggots swimming in his wound! But this sweet dog is strong, he never cried hard when the vet was cleaning the wound. The wound need to be treated and cleaned everyday, he is just a 6 months old puppy but have to go through all this suffering and pain which indeed made all of us heart-breaking. 28/05/2012 - The same thing happened to Waro. One of the HOPE supporter happened to found Waro in Taman Pelangi Indah, Johor Bahru. He found Waro have a very large and painful boil on his neck and emitted a foul odor. He can't be ignored. So he contact a volunteer hope we can help this poor dog. Volunteer immediately send to vet for treatment. Waro was wearing a collar, we believe Waro have owner but don't know why it would be living on the street and injured in such a way!Every single day we are encountering many suffering doggies who REALLY need our help, just like Kalou & Waro, we sincerely hope that all of you who are reading this would give a helping hand to them. Good news, Kalou’s wound is recovering well and he looks more energetic now. The big wound had become smaller; Kalou had transformed from a sad and painful look to a happy angel now!
Kalou is an obedient and friendly furkid. He is enjoying his new life and loving everybody around him.

Worrying news for Waro. While Kalou is recovering well from his injury, but Waro is not having the same luck as Kalou. Waro’s wound is having no sign of improvement.
After diagnosed by vet, Waro is also suffering from Canine Distemper too!! This is one of the main factor the causing no improvement on his wound!! Canine Distemper is a highly contagious and mortally si

ckness among doggies.
Waro is fostering in volunteer Iris’s house at the moment. Waro is a very obedient female doggy. She always stay quiet neither she makes noise nor create any hassle. Lets cross our fingers to pray for this lovely girl. Wishing her for speedy recovery and defeat the horrible sickness. Then only she will have lots of days to love and to be loved.

一个令人担心的消息，正当看到Kalou伤口慢慢复合，可是Waro的伤口反而没有好的进展！
经过兽医诊断后发现Waro患上恐怖的犬瘟热!! 所以伤口才会无法复合!!犬瘟热是一种高度传染和高度致命的病毒性疾病!!
目前Waro由义工Iris寄养家中照顾，Waro是个非常乖的狗女孩，她总是不吵不闹，大家一起为这个乖女孩祈祷，希望她的病情好转并快点打倒病魔，她以后还有很多的日子来爱人及被爱，Waro，加油！

Spare a thought for your pet - he/she may just be a pet to you, but to him/her, you are the world! By abandoning your animal companion, you are clearly throwing away the trust a helpless and voiceless one has for you, and maybe even sending your loyal pet out to his/her death. Please help us spread the word about "Responsible Pet Ownership". If your pet is not well, seek medical advice from a vet. If he/she has behavioural problems, look for professionals who can help uncover the root of the problem. In short, never give up on your pet.

Rescue Case 拯救案子 - SOPHIE

23/07/2012：Cruel and inhumane owner!! They abandoned their pets when they are sick!! Sophie was cruelly abandoned and got hit by car. Furthermore, her eye became so badly infected and she nearly lost her precious life!!! Sophie was found by a mowing worker. She contacted Aunty Jia Jia to rescue the dying Rottweiler when her car came across the mowing area. Sophie has 4 ulceration on her foot, she can’t stand and walk. Her left eye was badly injured and she almost become blind. There's a lot of maggots swimming in her eye. Without hesitating, Aunty Jia Jia immediately rushed Sophie to the vet. She was so hungry and ate 3 bowls of dog food when she admitted in the vet clinic for the first day. We do not know how much painfulness that Sophie had gone through and why her ex-owner abandoned her. For the past few years, we have rescued so many pedigree dogs who was cruelly abandoned by their owners. Most of the people buy pedigree dogs just for fashion and trend only. When their pets are sick or get older, they choose to abandoned them! Even thought Sophie is a Rottweiler which people always thinks that they are very fierce but she is a very friendly girl! Her most painful days have gone. She will definitely gets lots of love and freedom in the shelter. 23/07/2012：无人性冷酷的饲主!! 狗狗病了就把她遗弃让她自身自灭!!! 狗狗被抛弃后又遭遇车祸，眼睛也受到严重感染，差点存活不下来!!! Sophie是一名割草工人在草丛中发现的,正好嘉嘉阿姨经过,这名割草工人马上追着阿姨的车还大声呼叫,阿姨下车一看,发现这只罗威纳犬已经奄奄一息倒卧在草丛里. 嘉嘉阿姨火速把Sophie 送到兽医诊所,Sophie 的四肢脚板严重溃烂, 所以造成它无法站立行走,左眼也因为受伤被满满的蛆虫腐蚀几乎全瞎了.Sophie 在兽医诊所的第一天就狼吞虎咽地吃了足足三大碗的狗饼, 我们不知道Sophie 为何会沦落到如此的地步, 我们也不知道为什么Sophie身心会受到如此大的伤害,但是总总迹象显示, 我们很肯定Sophie 是遭主人恶意遗弃的! 这几年被我们拯救的名犬越来越多.从西施犬,贵宾犬,德国狼犬到罗威纳犬,人们很多时候只是一时兴起或者跟风, 就去购买名犬饲养,可是一旦宠物患病或是年老了,就选择恶意抛弃它们! 我们想呼吁的是 : 最近都发生了多起名种狗被抛弃的案子。为什么?? 那是因为比起菜狗狗们，名种狗狗会出现遗传性病症的机会来的高很多，因为许多无良繁殖商利用狗狗来进行近亲交配，导致狗狗们生下来就患上遗传性疾病，而一当狗狗老了或稍微照顾不当时，这些病症就会发作，主人开始认为麻烦照顾，一些不愿意花费昂贵的医药费来治疗，就以抛弃来随便了事!! 养宠物不是2、3个月的事，而是对狗狗们10-15年性命的承诺，在初期养时，就应该预料到狗狗老时会带来的一些不便! 如果大家想养宠物，请慎重考虑自己是否能担当这个重责大任，许下这个长远的承诺，时间，精力，金钱都应该被慎重考虑到。随意的抛弃宠物无疑是活活的推他们去死，一直以来被照顾养着的狗狗，沦落到了街头，难道你认为它们懂得觅食懂得看车懂得过马路吗?? 也请以领养代替购买来杜绝非法繁殖者! Sophie was previously diagnosed by vet that her badly injured left eye might become blind!
Fortunately, there’s s good news to applaud from Sophie. Sophie was having speedy recovery during the rehabilitation period, especially on the injury of her left eye. The left eye ball was not damage; she is gaining back her eye sight gradually!

Rescue Case 拯救案子 - Roxy 被狠心弃养的德国狼犬

This is a story of another case of abandoned pet! She was named Roxy.. This happened last week. The dogs in our volunteer's house were all barking non-stop that night. As not to cause disturbance to the neighbour, our volunteer and family member went outside to check on what is happenning. They were greeted by a German Shepherd in front of their house. Thinking to chase the dog back home, to stop their house dogs from barking, they sprayed water on the dog. The dog, Roxy did not intend to leave but tried to enter the house from the gap between the gate frames. Roxy kept crying and from the facial expression you can see how desperate she wanted to be inside the house. Our volunteer was left with no other option but to bring the dog for a walk in the neighbourhood, hoping Roxy can lead the way back home as our volunteer thought that this might be a dog let off the house for pee & poo. But this dog was walking aimlessly, leading the volunteer to no where. Suddenly, Roxy collapsed. As it was already in the middle of night and no clinic available for emergency assistance, the dog can only be temporary resting at the volunteer house for observation. Only then, the volunteer was able to know the poor body condition of Roxy. Roxy is so thin to bone and her fur was not in good condition with pieces and lumps of particles on the fur. Volunteer quickly brought food and water for Roxy and she gobbled down everything. We estimated the dog has been a stray for a period of time. We sent Roxy for medical screening the next morning and were told that she is severely malnourish and her weight was only 15KG! A normal and healthy Female German Shepherd should weight 26-31KG. She also has serious skin problem, pale gum, teeth infection and thick tartar which all these issues will need a long period to be healed and corrected. Roxy is an outgoing and young dog, she is friendly to most people that she has met. She is currently living with our puppy dogs in the shelter. As she has a long way to go in her life, we sincerely wish that we are able to source a good home for her. Supports and contributions for her medical and living expenses are also welcome. There were more cases of small breeds in the past but as time goes by, more and more bigger breed dogs were abandoned. You have your work, your entertainment and your friends. 又是一起宠物弃养! 上个礼拜, 在一个夜深人静的夜晚, 义工家里的狗儿突然不断地狂吠, 义工急忙跑出去探个究竟, 发现一条德国狼犬徘徊在义工家的门前. 这是义工的父亲还拿出水管不断喷水在狼狗身上,希望这只狼 犬能够离开. 没想到狼狗非但不离开, 还一直想找门缝进入屋内, 并且不断发出哀嚎声, 眼睛透露出哀求的眼神, 仿佛渴望有人愿意收留它. 为了不让家里的狗吠声打扰到附近的邻居, 义工只好牵着狼狗在家附近走走, 心想有可能是附近居民饲养的狼狗偷溜出来, 希望它认得路回家, 可是狼狗就像是个逛花园的小孩子, 一直牵着义工到处乱逛. 就在义工六神无主的时候, 这头德国狼犬突然倒地不起奄奄一息, 这时义工只好打电话求助于嘉嘉阿姨. 这时已经是凌晨12点半了. 阿姨火速赶到义工家, 发现这只狼狗几乎瘦到都快看到骨头了, 身上多处的毛发粘着像是头皮屑的东西. 一撮一撮的布满整个背部. 义工马上拿出狗饼还有食水, 只见狼狗大口大口的把食物吃完还一直不停地喘气. 嘉嘉阿姨估计这只狼狗已经在外流浪好久了, 在没有地方可以收留之下, 阿姨只好摸黑带狼狗回收容中心, 这时已经是凌晨一点半了! 第二天一早, 阿姨带狼狗去兽医诊所做检查, 并帮狼狗取名为”Roxy”. 经过兽医检查后, Roxy严重营养不良, 体重也只有15公斤. (正常雌性的德国狼犬体重约26-31kg).也有 严重的皮肤病, 牙龈泛白, 牙齿发黄. 需要长期的调理才能恢复健康. 最近, 我们发现宠物弃养的问题越来越严重, 以前被遗弃的多数是小型犬, 可是今年来我们发现越来越多大型犬也惨遭主人遗弃. Roxy 是一只性格好动的狗狗, 它对任何人都非常的友善, 现在正和小狗们一起生活在收容中心. 17/05/2012：一只准备送入人类口腹死里逃生的故事: 发现坚强是在古来Kulai 的工业区. 当时坚强的颈项被一条尼龙绳紧紧地缠绕着. 绳子的另外一头有被咬断的痕迹, 估计是被坚强咬断逃跑出来. 根据附近的工友说, 附近有很多越南人会捕捉流浪狗当做他们的食物, 有些捕捉后并不会立即宰杀, 而是会饲养一段时间后再来宰杀, 很不幸地, 坚强也逃不过被活捉的下场, 但是幸运的是, 坚强竟然会咬断绳子死里逃生! 坚强患有严重的毛囊虫皮炎(Demodicidosis), 身上也有许多跳蚤, 还发出阵阵恶臭. 就在坚强接受治疗的一个礼拜后, 坚强被检验出换上了犬瘟热Canine Distemper! 不但如此, 两天后, 我们发现在坚强右脚上的皮肤异常肿大, 根据兽医诊断, 坚强的皮肤组织发炎, 发炎的地方会形成肿瘤!坚强正在接受隔离治疗. 

01/06/2012: 坚强病情恶化, 原先已经快要康复的肿瘤突然恶化, 已经转变成癌症. 就算护生院的医药费暴增, 我们绝不放弃坚强, 持续让坚强接受治疗! 请为坚强加油打气, 我们也非常希望您能够伸出援手帮助我们承担坚强的医药费, 您的善款将让我们有能力给与这些有需要的动物们及时的医疗及护理，您也在他们的重生过程中扮演着举足轻重的角色

Jiang Qiang condition deteriorated. The tumor almost recovered but suddenly transformed into cancer. Even our medical expenses surge，We will never give up his & continue to receive treatment! 04/06/2012： Our beloved Jian Qiang has passed away quietly and peacefully this morning. His condition had deteriorated since the day he had diagnosed with cancer.

Rest in peace, our dearest Jian Qiang. You will sorely be missed.
