Rescue Case 拯救案子 - Belly

这是Belly，是一只成年的小型犬。
This is Belly, an adult dog which is small sized.

从照片所示，Belly有个肿大的肚子。经过诊断，从X-Ray发现她的肚子都是积水，肝脏已经严重溃烂，癌症末期，并以扩散全身。
As you can see from the photo, Belly has a swollen stomach. From the x-ray, we found out that her stomach is full of water and her liver is serious fester, terminal cancel, and has spread through the whole body.

Belly是日前在笨珍渔村被一名女子发现的。由于当地没有兽医，女子于是联络护生园，希望能获得协助。我们在一名善心阿伯的帮忙下，找到了Belly。据阿伯所说，Belly于1个星期前左右出现在该区，估计是患病后被主人抛弃，只好拖着病重的身子，四处流浪徘徊。
Belly was found by a lady in Pontian village. As there is no vet at that place, the lady contacted HOPE to seek for help. From the help from an uncle, we found Belly. According to the uncle, Belly was found wandering at this area about 1 week ago. Most likely she was abandon after realizing she was ill.

被兽医宣判死刑的Belly目前不适合进行任何手术。希望护生园决定把她接回园里，让她在园里和其他的毛孩度过生命中最后的时光。
Due to Belly situation, she is not suitable for any operation. HOPE decide to bring her back to the shelter and let her spent her last moment with the other fur kids.

我们现在能做的，就是让Belly在生命的最后，感受到世界的一丝温暖，希望Belly能承受最少的痛苦，盼望奇迹的出现。
What we can do out is let Belly have some love during her last moment and hope for miracle.

Belly不要怕，我们会陪在您身边，陪您走完这最后一段路。
Belly don’t be scared, we will accompany you until your last day.

21/10/2014: Belly的最新近况 Updates about Belly:

日前从兽医所接Belly出院，兽医也尝试帮Belly肚子抽出了些水份，但无奈她日后还是会很快再渐渐肿大，一个星期后必须再回诊所抽水份和复诊。
Belly just discharged from the veterinary. Belly's veterinarian tries to help Belly to draw out some water from its stomach, but it gradually be enlarged again. Therefore it must return to the clinic to draw out water after one week.

兽医口中也道出希望还可再见到您Belly，Belly开始已没什么胃口病情也可能随时恶化，目前每日必须服食癌症药物控制病情。
The veterinary also hope to see Belly again. Belly began to have no appetite and its condition may worsen at any time. It takes cancer drugs daily to control the disease.

Belly真的真的很乖，我们都知道她一定很痛很痛，但她就是总不吵不闹，这点反让我们更心疼她。
Belly is really well behaved, we all know she must be very painful, but she has never made noise or trouble to us. And this make us feel more pitiful for Belly.

我们的心愿还是一样希望Belly能承受最少的痛苦，盼望奇迹的出现。
We wish Belly will not suffer a lot and we pray for a miracle to happen.

27/10/2014: Belly的最新近况 Updates about Belly:

一个令人悲痛的消息，日前Belly再次回诊所复诊，兽医再次帮Belly肚子进行抽水，但所取出的都是血水只能暂停，令人心疼的孩子。
Update news of Belly, Belly went for her following check up, the vet helps Belly to draw water out from her stomach, but as it was blood water, the treatment has to be stopped.

经兽医再次确诊，Belly病情恶化随时都会离开我们，虽然不舍，但我们还是只能做最坏的心理准备。
The vet diagnose that Belly condition is getting worse, although we wish for the best, but we have to be prepared for the worse.

我们的心愿依然只希望Belly能承受最少的痛苦，能安详走完这段最后的路程。
We hoped that Belly will have to bear lesser pain to finish her remaining life.

挺着巨肚的Belly在我们的陪伴下，咽下了最后一口气。
With us by her side, Belly, our girl with a swollen stomach, has heaved her last breathe.

这只患上癌症末期的毛孩在希望护生园度过了生命中最后一段宝贵的时光。医生对她的情况束手无策，我们却没有选择放弃，继续用爱用温暖，灌溉她的生命，希望她能在离世前感受最后一丝的希望。
Our furkid who has terminal cancer spent her last precious days at H.O.P.E. The vet couldn’t help her with her condition but we chose not to give up on her. We continued to shower her with love and warmth, because we want her to feel hope before she passes on.

Belly走了，带走了她的快乐和痛苦。但愿她能在彩虹桥的另一端，自由自在、无病无痛地奔跑，做一只快乐无忧的可爱毛孩。
Belly is gone, so is her joy and suffering. We pray that she will run freely as a happy and adorable furkid, free from illness and pain, on the other side of the rainbow bridge.
