新收容所的进度 Progress of the new shelter(location:Pekan Nanas)

马来西亚虽然位置处于热带雨林，常年雨水丰沛的国家。但是还是有雨水不足的季节的来临，希望护生园原址的水源真的是靠天吃“水”的地点。真的是吃力不讨好啊。
Although Malaysia is located at rain forest, a country with abundant rainfall all year round. However, there is still insufficient rain at certain season. The water source for H.O.P.E is solely dependent on rain water coming from the “sky”. This is a very difficult task.
随着旱季的来临，水源匮乏是取得食用水的一大障碍。这两年来，本园疲于解决水源的窘境实在是雪上加霜。本园经常呼吁来参与活动的义工携带饮用水的情景大家都应该历历在目吧？因此未来的五六月初始旱季，本园目前真的相似如临大敌。为了尽快解决饮水危机，搬迁是迫切之需。
With the coming of the dry season, we are facing major obstacle to obtain of drinking water as the shortage of water supply. The past two years, the shelter been struggling to solve the water dilemma and it is getting worse. The scenario to call on to volunteer who participate in our activities to carry drinking water should sounds familiar, right? The upcoming May and June is the start of the dry season, we are worried the situation will be getting worse compare with last year. In order to solve the drinking water crisis as soon as possible, relocate of the current shelter is urgently needed.
本园先在这里向大家澄清一点。
We would like to clarify something to every one of you.

新地点已经觅寻到，是大家众所皆知的，没错。早期筹建新收容的八万令吉也还在，就算粮食短缺的危机都不敢动用各位善长仁翁捐助筹建收容所的费用。我们都知道得来不易啊。还有，大家也在询问有在首都吉隆坡的团队也在筹划新收容所事项。因为计划筹建还在进行，而且尚需余年时间，此时真的有点等不及了。所以本园已经在尽快计划尽早搬迁至新地点。
Everyone knew that new location has been found. And the fund raised for building the new shelter(Rm80,000) at early stages is still with us, even when we facing the dog food supply crisis we are not taking even a single cent from the money. We all know that is hard-earned. Peoples do as asked the team in Kuala Lumpur is also doing some planning on the new shelter. Because the plan is still in progress and will take years of time, we have no time to wait. So we are planning relocate to a new location as soon as possible.

目前的进度是如照片所显示，本园已经安排工人建筑工人宿舍和 涵沟已经完成。但是新地点地势低且柔软，必须填埋砂石土地来增加高度和硬度。大面积填土的经费是目前筹获善款不足以应付的，因此希望各界还需要努力帮忙宣传协助筹建。我们除了资金，也接受公众捐助砂石土、砖块、建筑木料等等一切建筑所需。也接受建筑废石料来填埋地势低洼的基础层土。希望大家帮忙宣传呼吁认 识的建材商或建筑商捐助、赞助或载送废石料，本园都无任欢迎。

The current schedule is as shown in the pictures, we has been arranged worker to build the workers' dormitories and has been completed. But the new location is in low altitude and with soft land; the land must be landfill with gravel and sands to increase the height and the hardness of the land. The cost needed for the landfill currently insufficient, so the shelter that all the efforts from every one of you publicize our needs in building the new place. Apart from money, we also accept donations of needed gravel soil, bricks, timbers and so on. And also accept construction waste to landfill the soft and low latitude land. We hope every one of you publicise our needs of building materials or any Builders donations, sponsorship or carrying waste material.
