所有家里有饲养宠物的人家都知道他们的宠物在他们心目中是占据了多重要的地位，他们是我们固定的良伴，他们对我们无私的爱，与那种忠诚是无可取代的。
他们就像我们的家人，虽然每一天的工作有多忙碌，看到他们在期待我们放工回家，看到他们那可爱的样子，真的会让一天的疲劳全消。
除此之外，他们让我们更有安全感，和他带来那无比的欢乐，让我们的生活变得更有欢乐，这让宠物与人们之间的感情变得无价，就因为这样，他们就像我们生活的一部分，我们的家人。
因为这份特别的感情，Coffee Table Book 以这为专题“我们是一家人”。
我们呼吁大家，发挥小小的力量，让更加多的人知道人与宠物之间这美妙的关系，我们也希望这本书能让大家会对动物付出更多的 爱与关怀。
Anyone who has a dog or cat knows how big a part they play in our lives. They are our constant companions. We receive their unconditional love and undivided loyalty. They wait to welcome us home after a hard day’s work and are always delighted to greet us with woofs, purring and leg rubbing!
Our pets keep us safe from intruders and bring immeasurable joy. The bond is deep and priceless.
They play such an integral part in our lives and are definitely considered beloved members of our family! Hence the coffee table book is aptly entitled “We Are Family”.
We appeal to you to join us to inspire others. Appreciate and honour this special bond between us and our pets while supporting a worthy cause. We also hope that the book will touch people’s hearts to eventually treat animals with love and care.

How You Can Help
We plan to raise about RM300,000 through the limited edition book. The needy dogs and cats – and us! – of Hope Shelter will be honoured if you could support them by appearing in “We Are Family".
Corporate and individual donations are both welcome.
We will require a photographic portrait of yourself with your pet, and a brief write-up detailing the relationship and how it has transformed your life.
Dress code for ladies is cocktail dress (an outfit for semi-formal or formal occasions). Men will be photographed in jackets. Ethnic dress code (baju kurung, cheongsam, sari, etc) is allowed.

如果您是在吉隆坡的，我们将会提供：
1. 一张您与宠物的A4尺寸照片。
2. 二十个不同姿势的照片。
3. 五份“我们是一家人”的赠阅版。
4. 由著名时装设计师Carven Ong在摄影当天对于造型的免费咨询（如果有需要）。
5. 来自Datin Winnie Loo 的A Cut Above的创意团队在摄影当天为您化妆与发型设计。
6. 当天的摄影将由来自New Looks Studio的名人摄影师Alvin Loh进行拍摄的工作。
第一轮的拍摄时间将从三月5号到10号，将会有五个时段给所有的赞助者，拍摄的时段将是先到先得的。
If you are in Kuala Lumpur, we will provide:
1.One A4 size photo of the owner and pet.
2.Twenty (20) shots with various poses during the photo shooting session.
3. Five complimentary copies of “We Are Family”.
4.A free consultation with renowned fashion designer Carven Ong and his team on styling (if required) before the photo shoot.
5.A creative team from renowned Datin Winnie Loo’s A Cut Above to create your hair and make-up for the photo shoot.
6.Celebrity photographer Alvin Loh of New Looks Studio will conduct the photo shoot.
The first batch of photography sessions for the book are from March 5 to 10. There are five time slots available for sponsors – on a first-come, first-served basis - to have portraits taken.

柔佛新山的希望护生园是注册的非政府组织（2603-09-JHR）。
他们所推崇的是不进行安乐死，所有在护生园里的狗狗与猫猫都可以自由的活动，在广阔的空间自由的生活，禁闭只是给那些需要特别照顾或者是比较难驯服的狗狗与猫猫。
他们的创办人是嘉嘉阿姨，一位拥有无私同情心为了那些无家可归的流浪动物而创下了希望护生园，希望护生园已经收到驱逐令。
可是在六年里，这个地方已经变得非常的狭窄，每当大雨来袭，护生园都会淹水，所有的基本设施已经不足以让里面的狗狗们有舒服的生活环境。

About HOPE Johor Bahru
HOPE JB is a registered NGO (2603-09-JHR) in Johor. It maintains a no-kill policy.
The dogs and cats roam and play freely, for their natural lives, in open spaces. Confinement is only limited to animals that need extra care or are difficult to handle.
The founder/owner of Hope Shelter is Aunty Jia Jia, an individual of rare compassion who has dedicated herself selflessly to the care of homeless animals.
The shelter has been given eviction orders. After six years, it has also become overcrowded, and is hit by floods after rain. Basic facilities are overstretched to maintain the welfare of the animals.
A 5-acre piece of land has been purchased in Pekan Nanas, Johor. We urgently need funds to build the new shelter. For more information visit www.facebook.com/hopejb or www.hopejb.org.
Most team members have visited the shelter. We left with a conviction and resolve that something has to be done for the well being of the dogs and cats. So with due diligence carried out, our team is convinced HOPE JB is a worthy cause and deserving of your kind support.

The condition actually is much sadder than what you see – when it rains, the sight of the dedicated staff wading through filthy water, tending to the helpless animals, is really heart-rending!

这是如此的震惊和让人心碎，当我们看到昨晚所发生的一切。
我们的义工试着从狗狗拘留所拯救80只流浪狗.经过几天的挨饿没有食物下肚的日子，狗狗们开始自相残杀，这只可怜的小狗便成了无辜的受害者。
失踪，流浪和被遗弃的狗狗们被市议会捕抓，并被送往狗狗拘留所，他们会在那里关上七天。
如无人认领或拯救他们，他们就会安乐死，我们何时才可以停止这样的噩梦？他们都狂吠，无助的汪汪地叫。他们都被吓坏了。
We were so shocked and heart breaking when we saw this last night. Our volunteers were trying to rescue 80 strays from the dog pound.
After days of starvation, the dogs resorted in cannibalism (dog eating dog's flesh).
This poor puppy had become the victim. Lost, stray and abandoned dogs were caught by the local council and were sent to the pound, where they were kept for seven days. If no one claims or rescues them, they will be put down (euthanize).
When can we stop this nightmare? They were all barking, yelping and whining helplessly.
They were such petrified, miserable and freaked-out.

遏止流浪狗的数量是非常重要的。
通过结扎或绝育你的宠物，你可以帮忙控制流浪动物的数量以制止这种悲惨的情况。
如果我们每个人都尽一份自己的力量，我们相信我们迟早可以解决这个问题。
It is very important to curb the population of the strays.
By spaying or neutering your pets, you can help control the population and put an end to this miserable situation.
If everyone of us do our part, we believe sooner or later we can solve this problem.

目前暂用的收容所已过度拥挤，并严缺基本设施维持毛孩们的生活条件。
The current temporary shelter is overcrowded and lacks basic facilities to maintain the well being of the dogs and cats.

我们是一个由志同道合的朋友组成的团队，名为“我们是一家人”，其使命是：回贵社会。
We are a team of like minded friends, working under the name “We Are Family”, with a mission: to give back to society.

我们的宗旨是为慈善筹款，而我们的第一个慈善筹款活动是，将为柔佛州1400多只流浪狗狗与150多只流浪猫建立收容所。
Our aim is to raise funds for charities and our first project is to build a shelter to house ove 1400 stray dogs and 150 cats in Johor.

The team has embarked on its first charity project, to raise funds for a new home for Johor based animal shelter HOPE.

希望护生园是一个无施行安乐死及私人运作的流浪动物收容所，我们完全没有政府津贴也无任何集团/公司的财力资助，那希望护生园是如何维持日常开销的呢?
H.O.P.E. is a no-kill and a privately run animal shelter who receives no government or corporate funding.

我们是靠大众的捐款，大众的短期赞助及售卖义卖品来维持的，不管所拯救到的流浪动物们情况或健康有多糟糕，我们都会提供他们最好的医疗护理及帮助，因此我们的开销也多是花费在庞大的医药开销及狗粮或猫饼上。
We manage to survive on some donations, sponsorships and sales of our merchandise. We believe in giving the animals that we take in the best help possible regardless of their health condition, our major expenditure is on medical aid and food for the dogs and cats that we take in.

惨遭抛弃又遇恐怖车祸导致瘫痪的-Cedric
Abandoned and had met with an car accident which leads to paralysed-Cedric

善心男孩发现一只狗狗被车碾过躺在马路血泊中痛苦挣扎，肇事车早已逃跑，狗狗已奄奄一息四只脚不停摆动血水一直流出，这里人很多都目睹但没人愿意伸出援手帮助这只身受重伤的狗狗!
A kind-hearted boy found a struggling and lying in the road with a pool of blood, the car who run over the dog had fled, the dog are on the verge of dead and the blood has been flowing, a lot of people have witnessed but nobody is willing to lend a helping hand for this seriously injured dog!

我们为狗狗取名为Cedric，经过兽医确诊后，可怕的是Cedric前左脚和后双脚骨头已断碎，这将导致他永久瘫痪，目前Cedric严重虚弱和严重失血必须留院关查和治疗。
We named the dog Cedric, after veterinarians diagnosed, Cedric left front and rear legs bone has been broken, which will lead to permanent paralysis, currently Cedric need to stay at the vet for further check and treatment due to severe blood loss and weak body.

Cedric之前很有可能是有人伺养，但不知为何竟狠心将他抛弃流落街头才会遇可怕的车祸，造成这可悲的悲剧!
Cedric is initially someone pet, but we do not know why the cruel owner abandons her to the streets until he met a terrible car accident, and cause this sad tragedy!

真是一个令人安慰又开心的好消息， Cedric可以慢慢站起来和走路了，当时Cedric被救起时，情况非常之糟糕!
Here is comforting and great news for you all. Currently Cedric is able on his feet and able to walk. Recalling the time when he being rescued, his condition is very terrible.

这是我们完全无法想象他还能再次站起来，以为他往后的日子因瘫痪无法走路，Cedric的坚强实在是让我们敬佩。
Right now, we can not believe our eyes that seeing him standing and start walking. We thought he might paralyze after the terrible accident. His tough and strong minds make us proud of him.

目前Cedric必须继续留院观察，兽医估计还需要留院大楷三个星期医药治疗和脚部复建。
Currently, he still need to be hospitalized and in monitoring. Vet estimate he probably still need around three weeks medication and physiotherapy.

一个值得开心的消息，毛孩Cedric住了52天的医院终于康复出院并能再次站立了，为他感到万分的开心和感动:)
Good news for everyone. After 52 days of hospitalization, Cedric recovered and able to stand again. We feel so excited to see him able to stand up again.

Cedric因被主人抛弃才会遭遇意外，最后，请各位养狗狗的主人，一定要对您家的宝贝负责，我们养他，不是一时冲动的事，而是要陪着他，照顾他，永远，如果养，请不离不弃!
Cedric was being hit in accident after abandoned by his owner. As reminder for all doggies’ owner, please be responsible to your doggie. You raise them not because of a moment of impulse. They need accompanies, your love and care forever. When you decide to raise them, please do not give up halfway.
