We did not know how they were ended up there. The stench of the dead body was so strong and there was hundreds of flies flying around. The factory's worker wanted to give them some food but both of them just refused and afraid to come out. It was estimated that the mother of the 2 puppies had pass away for at least 3 days. No one dare to touch or buried the dead body. Therefore, our volunteers had to help to buried the female dog first.
After we had buried the female dog, we quickly send the 2 puppies to the vet clinic. London & Olympic were estimated to be about 9 months old. They were both very weak and emaciated. They had severe malnutrition and dehydration. Sadly, the vet also diagnosed that they had Parvo Virus. Both of them need to be quarantine at the vet clinic and put on drip. Our heart sank when we see both of them had gone through so much suffering at this young age.
However, we are constantly reminded of how many animals are still out there in the streets – without homes, as we still constantly venture into various industrial estates. When it’s a bright sunny day, the strays try to seek shelter wherever they can, even under trees where there will be ants, and drink any little bit of water they can find, clean or otherwise. When it rains and pours, they often hide under vehicles, shivering and cowering in the cold, hoping the rain will subside.
We strongly urge our friends, supporters and you whom is reading this, to love not only your own pets but also try your best to help the strays out there. The streets are not their home, definitely not their choice too.
Additionally, we really appreciate any bit of contribution to London & Olympic's medical bills as the rescues have been pouring in but nonetheless, we will not deny medical treatment to any sick or injured stray we come across as long as we are able to get hold of them.

07/08/2012:妈妈不幸身亡, 儿子挨饿受苦不离不弃坚持守护妈妈尸体超过3天!
在一个偶然的机会下, 义工们正好经过Mount Austin工业区. 突然一阵恶臭扑鼻而来. 循着臭味寻找, 赫然发现有一具狗尸体倒卧在罗里车底, 探头一望, 只见到上百只的苍蝇正围绕着尸体打转! 估计狗儿已经死亡至少3天了!
可是就在这时候, 义工们发现尸体的旁边还有2只狗儿紧紧相伴, 义工们尝试丢些狗饼给它们, 它们也不吃. 这时一位在附近工作的工友告诉我们, 这3只狗本是妈妈和儿子, 一直以来都是在这附近流浪, 不知为什么狗妈妈突然身亡, 而这2只狗儿就一直陪伴狗妈妈的身边就再也没有离开过,
尸体已经曝晒好几天, 除了发出阵阵恶臭之外也开始腐烂, 工友说没有人敢移动尸体更加别说是埋葬了. 我们的义工这时二话不说, 拿了一个塑料袋, 把狗妈妈的尸体打包好, 准备拿去埋葬, 而狗妈妈的孩子已经开始出现脱水现象, 得马上接受治疗! 所以义工们马上把狗儿载去兽医诊所接受诊断!
经过兽医诊断, London 和 Olympic 严重营养不良已经脱水, 但是最让我们担心的是, London 和 Olympic 竟然得了病原犬细小病毒（Canine Parvovirus，CPV）CPV主要感染犬,尤其
由于Parvovirus 是高度传染疾病, 所以London 和 Olympic 正接受隔离治疗, 除了昂贵的医药费之外, 每天的住院费就高达RM50!!

We are so excited to share with you the updates for London and Olympic. Here’s the great news for them. The two of them had defeated the illness and had fully recovered! They are both adapting well in the big family now. They are also having their very own close friends too!
