Mr. Tam has an illness dog, SEGY at home. He came to ask our advice when ending adoption event. From his describe, his dog always bite leg finger and the wound cannot recovery, start became worse than before now. We went to his house take a look his dog, SEGY’s one of leg front finger all missing, the wound quite serious. He feels very painful and keeps trembling body. Mr. Tam bring his dog go to vet see doctor couple of time, but still cannot recovery. As before the dog inflected distemper, it needs stay at vet for medical treatment and he spend lot money paid on the medical fees. He has some financial problem now so find HOPE to help his dog. After discussion, HOPE bring the dog go to vet do medical treatment and he willing to pay RM300 for medical fees. We promise him we help his dog spay, vaccination and take care until the wound recovery.
Therefore, it will increase HOPE medical expense again. Hereby, we appeal all of you can sponsor some donation for reduce HOPE medical expense.
We trying our best provide medical treatment for his wound but it seems recovery very slow because of his weakness body. It may take a longer time full recovery. We wish SEGY can recovery well soon and go back to home.

Update for Segy:
We felt very bad for Mr. Tam whereby we are unable to help Segy to move on smoothly to the healing process. Yet he might need to undergo the surgery of amputation. We are sorry for wrongly blamed Mr. Tam for not take good care of Segy, which causes his injury get worsen. The vet was very puzzled of the case too, whereby he was actually physically fit. But maybe it was due to psychological problem, while the wound was healing, he will tried different ways to leak or bite the wound. The trumpet collar had changed one another to bigger and longer one. Yet, he will still bite till it broken and continue to touch his wound and caused ulcerate wound. The worker whom was appointed to look after him also can’t do anything on it. This is a very good learning experience for us. We had learned the lesson whereby we should get the umbrella ready before pouring rain.
The vet suggested to amputate the whole back leg, then only he won’t be able to leak or bite his wound again. Only by doing so, then he is able to recover and avoid ulcerate and further virus infection which will cause life danger. This is the most compromise solution for him.
The amputation surgery will cost RM800, which is not a small amount for us. Hereby, we sincerely hope all kind hearted big brothers and sisters will undertake or chip in to help Segy to pull thru the crisis.

09/11/2012:Segy, after his amputation!
Segy had discharged from vet clinic; he is now having delicated cares in shelter’s quarantine room. Poor Segy still haven’t get use to walk with only 3 legs… But we believe this tough boy will slowly pick up how to walk with his 3 legs and improve well as the days go by. We also believe that doggy’s psychokinesis is always tougher than human being. Segy is a real life warrior, he will surely adapt well for his every steps in new life. Cheerio, Segy!
Nevertheless, there’s a sad news for Segy. His former owner Mr. Tam is not intent to bring Segy back… As we don’t bear to see Segy to stray outside, Segy had officially become a member of our big family! Our family members are increasing more and more; we really need help from public to sponsor our babies in this big family. Thank you!

虽然不想在提起令人气愤的伤心往事，但我们还是希望狗主们，一旦決定了养宠物就千万不要任意弃养宠物们!!

Previous owner of Segy has tried all mean to look for lots of vets for treatment on Segy foot injury but it was not successful. He has no other choice to handover Segy to us for bring him for further treatment and promised to bring him once he fully recovered. But in the end the cruel owner decided to abandon him!!!!
Although we do not want to remind on those sad memories, but we still hope that dog owner be responsible once they decided to bring any pets home! Do not simply abandon them if you decided not to keep them anymore. This should be a lifelong promise on taking care of them!
We are now happily to share Segy new life in the HOPE. Strong and optimistic personality of Segy has lead him to adapt and get used to running with 3 foots. Segy smiles always and wanted to express the heart with full of gratitude towards everyone that help him along the way!!
