He is Auser, he was rescued from a coffee house by a kind-hearted lady called Auntie Lilian. There are obvious signs that he has been abused - there are multiple wounds including the eyes and the head, his limps were tied with ropes and the ropes cut right into his flesh and they couldn't be untied with bare hands. Nice Auntie Lilian tried to cut the ropes off him with scissors but because it hurt too much, he bit Auntie Lilian. But it did not matter to Auntie Lilian, she just wanted to help relieve his pain.
Auntie Lilian did not have a transport that she could use to send poor Auser to the vet, she tried to get a cab but was refused because the cab driver did not want a dog in his car, let alone a stray. Helpless Auntie Lilian even went into a police station to get help but not even the police would help. She waited outside the police station hoping that the police (at least one of them) would lend a helping hand but not one soul was moved until midnight!
Auntie Lilian thought about carrying Auser home on foot, but it was just too far away from home and it was very late at night. In the end, Auntie Lilian managed to called a volunteer she knew to help out.
Auser was brought to the vet for treatment the next day. They had to anesthetize Auser to remove the ropes and if the ropes were removed any later, Auser's limps will have to be amputated!
On top of that, Auser's right eye was full of maggots that he will have to be hospitalized so that it can be cleaned and sterilized, and have the all maggots removed carefully.
After 2 weeks of hospitalization, Auser has slowly recovered, he's out of the hospital and is under special care in isolation here in HOPE. Thank goodness for the effort that Auntie Lilian has put in to help saving Auser's life and now thanks to Auntie Lilian, Auser has a new life!
Most strays are homeless from the day they were born, it is never easy to get by as a stray. We cannot understand why there are so many cold blooded people that would want to abuse them and add to their misery.
Please stop animal cruelty!! You don't have to love them, but please do not hurt them!
Auser's substantial medical bill has exacerbated HOPE's medical debt. We hereby ask for you kind souls out there to chip in and sponsor Auser's medical fees, which will at the same time help to ease HOPE's massive medical burden. Thank you very much!

A saddening news: Auser's right eye is gone - it was injured because some cold blooded people hit him and then it was seriously infected.
Auser has now settled in our big happy family. Auser is a very good boy, We hope that he feels the love from everyone and that his condition will improve in time!
Thanks to Auntie Lilian's quick response in rescuing the seriously wounded Auser and we would also like to thank all the good people that has donated to help him.
